How to become a successful day trader requires dedication from you. Since you are here, I assume you are already in the right path by looking for the right information. Day trading is a very lucrative venture for those who get started well prepared. So I am going to give you the right steps to take on how to become a successful day trader. The information out there is huge. It is like a forest and you have to find your way around, but it does have to be so. If you will follow the steps I laid down on this post, it will lead you to become a successful day trader, whether you trade forex like myself or you trade other financial intruments it does not matter.

Here are the simple steps to take in becoming a successful day trader

Step 1 : Find a mentor, someone who is already trading successfully and trading almost everyday to learn from. This is your first step. To find this mentor before you do anything else will save you lots of time, money and pain. I have been here. It took me more than 4 year of pain and loss of money to get to where I am. If I found a mentor like Shirley Hudson, I would not have lost so much money and so much time. So I will highly recommend this step.

Step 2: Focus on doing what your mentor says you should do. Determined to trade like your mentor and strive to surpass their record. If you decide to go with Shirley, it might be tough to beat her, but if you are determined, you can do it. Shirley’s record is around 93% successful and she is a very conservative trader, takes very small risks and has very high winning rates. You will be glad you choosed her to mentor you to becoming a successful day trader.

Step 3: Take your education seriously. The priceless knowledge of your mentor is the key to your success. The ability to ask questions and receive the right answers will keep you focused on your trading. As you start to strive in your trading, start giving way the information your have received from your mentor. As you start sharing what you know and helping others, you will become more focused and the sky will be the limit in this trading business venture.

Go ahead and get started with step 1 in becoming a successful day trader. If you noticed from step1 through to step 3, it all has to do with your mentor. I do believe with all my heart that finding a mentor is the only step you have to take to become a successful day trader. Once you find a good mentor, follow the plan of trading they present to you. Shirley Hudson is a very good mentor. For one, she trades daily and makes money in the markets consistently. Shirley is a real player, because there are many who just talk the winning game in trading but will never share with you their live results. Without a mentor, you will loose valuable time and money before gaining the right tools, mindset and expertise to becoming a successful day trader. Can you do it without a mentor? There are many day trading strategies that will work 80% of the time. The end of day London Close strategy work extremely well. The results so far at the time of this post February 2nd, 2012 the carefully kept records since January 2010 till today are as follows:

Total trades: 647 trades ( 92% accuracy rate of success)
Winning trades : 594 for a total of 13,053 pips
Losing trades: 21 for a total of 200 pips
Breakeven trades: 32

This gives an aggregate profits of 12854 pips and an accuracy rate of 92%. You can watch an example of day trading using the London Close day trading strategy here. So why are some people able to look at the day trading strategy of London close and use it successfully and others not?

Day trading strategies and how you can use them

Day trading strategies are just one piece of the puzzle to successfully day trade. You have to prepare your mind and develop your mind as a trader. That is the key to successful day trading behavior. How do you develop a trading mindset that will lead you to success as a day trader?

1. Be able to differentiate between a gamble and a professional trade setup. How do you do this. Most traders fail because of this. I failed because of this. After working on my mind and decided to stick to my trading plan no matter what, I started seeing recurring patterns in the markets using that charts that I can patiently wait to setup. But before I just traded because I had to trade and would ignore my trading rules. This is very detrimental to a trader. It is very easy to switch in your mind and just ignore your rules. But training your mind will help you overcome this. To be successful, you have to be extremely discipline.

2. You have to treat trading as a business. If you have it at the back of your mind that trading is a business, you will have a smart plan before execution. So your road to success as a day trader requires a a smart plan that has a property entry rules, proper position management and a proper exit. This well thought-out plan must be executed meticulously and with discipline. What I have found work is trading with others. Find a mentor or someone you can trade with, who will hold you accountable. That is where Shirley Hudson and Vic Nobles comes in with the recurring forex patterns. How To Day Trade

Day trading is simple. However it is not easy. For you to become an efficient day trader, you have to find a winner and simply emulate what they do. This winner must be someone who does trade for a living and does it on a daily basis. At best forex trading center, I said I will bring you the best information that I can find. Since 2005, I have come across many different mentors. While they are all good, there is none in my opinion compared to Shirley Hudson.

If you really want to learn how to day trade I suggest you listen to what she has to say . She can help you become a successful trader. You will drastically shorten your learning curve, save time and money on worthless, expensive courses out there. My advice to you go the to Shirley. She trade on a daily basis and I hope you can really help yourself by following her lead. You will save time and money by learning from her.
