Fx Charts Setup For Trading

There is no technical analysis without fx charts. My simple trading system as you will discover is short term in nature. For intra-day trading, I use the 15 minute fx chart and my intermediate trading I use the 8 hour chart. I only trade signals in the 8 hour chart price direction. My entry points are based completely on price patterns on my fx charts. For my technical analysis and trading, I use the triangular moving average, pivot points,Macd and Macd Histogram. The fx chart below is an example of my trading setup.

The detail explanation of this fx chart and how I use it in my trading will be fully disclosed in my trading system. If you virtually look at the chart you can equally understand why the various labels where placed at their various position. It is cool when you understand how this work and you become discipline enough to follow the rules.

Free fx charts

There are different kinds of fx charts to choose from today. The Japanese candlestick fx charts are the most common today. The other fx charts are western bar charts, line charts, and the point and figure charts. If you look at my chart above, it is the Japanese candlestick chart. It is the best charts any trader can use today. The chart package from your broker must give you all these varieties of fx charts. If not, then dumb that broker. The only one you will actually need to trade successfully is the Japanese Candlestick Chart. This chart shows you precisely who is dominating at any given time frame. If you broker require you to purchase a chart package, run away from that broker. My broker has a great chart package for all clients. Your broker aught to provide you with a good free fx chart package. There are free fx charts online, however, you cannot integrate these charts with your trading platform. Dailyfx charts

Daily fx is jam packed with information on forex trading. The information on this site is great, but you will be overwhelmed. Daily fx charts are for all levels. There are free charts for beginners, intermediate and advanced forex traders. All the charts at daily fx have premium versions as well as the free or trial version of the fx chart package.

Fx Charts Conclusion

The fx charts that I use is Japanese Candlesticks . These charts give a trader the ability to determine clearly which group of traders are winning in the market war. If the buyers are winning, then the closing price will always be above the open price and if the sellers are winning the closing price will always be below the open price. An uptrend say on my 8 hour fx chart will be when more candles shows that buyers are consistently winning. On the other hand if sellers are consistently winning on the 8 hour battle, then the trend will be considered downward. Fx charts don't lie. If you are patient and wait for the setup you are looking for, the chart will produce it. Once it does you take action. That's it. Again fx charts don't lie. Trade what the chart is telling you and don't trade with your imagination. Hoping something will happen, while the fx chart is telling you something else. Got it?
